Crossing done now the chair lift that had stopped yesterday due to bad weather
Just as we got to it a breakdown. But the maintenance guy knew just where to kick it! Well done as we are on our way.
We get to the top and what a differance to yesterday, the sulphur springs more visible now.
We head back down to the lake and this time get great views of Mt Fuji!
Great viewing of mountains and lakes.
We reach Matsumoto where they have a 400 year old casl, one of only 11 original castles left in Japan.
This is also the town we spend the night.
We walk the streets and find somewhere to eat.
Have no idea what we are in for but give it a go.
First thing we did wrong was we didn't take our shoes off and put them in a foot locker, but we got over that and progressed to the little booth they placed us in.
