Early breakfast and local train to Miyajima Island. A heritage site because of its shrine.
Trip was about 40 minutes.

The approach passes the O-torri Gate. The island was a real mixture of tradition and commercialism, and lots of food.
The local wildlife is friendly
And the cherry blossom is starting to come out.
But grilled Oysters are what the area is know for. Time to try them.
They were so good dinner was a curry with Oyster croquette's.
